Information we collect

How we use information

We use information to operate and secure the site; process and support orders; respond to messages; send marketing only where consent or applicable law permits; understand site and campaign performance; and manage Awake & Dreaming's own social-media and advertising accounts.

Service providers

Information may be processed by providers that help us deliver these services, including our web host, Google Analytics, Meta, Stripe, and an email provider when a person opts in. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy policy. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect users, the band, or the service.

Cookies and similar technologies

Our website uses cookies or similar technologies for analytics, security, shopping functionality, and advertising measurement. Browser controls can restrict cookies. You can also use Google's analytics opt-out tools and Meta's ad-preference controls.

Retention and security

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, legal and accounting obligations, dispute resolution, and security. We use access controls and reasonable technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you, or withdraw marketing consent, by emailing us. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply. Instructions for removing Meta access and requesting deletion are available on our data-deletion page.

Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

International processing

Our providers may process information outside Canada. Information may therefore be subject to the laws of the country where it is processed.

Changes

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the latest revision.
